What actually disturbed me most was his sort of "meh!" attitude about lip-syncing for his own video. I mean, he could at least TRY to look like he was singing along.

He's far too cool to care about singing. Like Jack, he needs to focus on nonchallanting his way around, looking good for LJ icons.
