In other news, spinning poi seems so far very much like club swinging, except more likely to smash you embarrassingly in the nose.

I can't help it. Poi is too much like koi, so I always picture people swinging fish around their heads.... which is a far more humorous mental image when referring to it going off course and meeting with your nose.

Of course, burning fish is not cool.
