That something has caused him to not be happy.

What say you Shadow, anything specific, or just a general unhappiness?

Null Pointer Exception?

No object specified.

Explicate?

Your Java hat is wedged on too firmly. You would write this.isHappy()

Explicate the cause! I'll put in subtitles next time. :P

Alex is a pretty bright guy. He didn't give more detail in the original post and (humorously) deflected your inquiry to a technical issue in his response.

Perhaps he's given the level of detail he wishes us to have right now.

Just so long as you aren't singin' the "Segmentation Violation - Core Dumped Blues".

pfff,
not to be a CS geek, but I think you forgot
to specify what (.isHappy() == false) evaluates
to :)

is it true or false?

[identity profile] learnedax.livejournal.com 2005-04-18 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
as a statement i'm making, i think it can be assumed to evaluate true as much as any statement of mind could be.

but, of course, i could say
assert(!is_happy());

Dude, even I could parse that expression.

*hugs*
