*sigh*

I had been planning to have dinner with

rickthefightguy and C. this evening before they returned to Chicago. Unfortunately, a) their flight was an early one, b) I had to actually be at work for a reasonable portion of the day, and, avoidably, c) looking for the restaurant was a process of negotiating a twisty maze of little passages. The upshot being that after driving around bemusedly for some time, we decided there wasn't actually time to eat, and I just dropped them off at the airport. Bleah.

It was good we did that, since we waited in line for literally over 2 hours just to check-in. (Gotta get myself off that watch list so I can use the electronic check-in. If anyone knows how that is done, I'd appreciate a tip).
