Fighting is good. It had been maybe five weeks, between rain and the trip and all. Our location was not very good this week, really only big enough for one bout at a time, so we did a round robin for 2.5 hours. I did alright, mostly I just fought a whole lot. My shield arm got tired after a couple of hours so I switched to glaive, and quickly found that the room wasn't big enough to swing a glaive in safely. Luckily A had brought a pair of 4' poles, which are basically clubs, so that was brutal good fun. And now I am seriously beat. I need a hot tub for occasions like these.

How'd it hang?

Mm, not perfect, but I haven't used them enough to know in what way it needs to be adjusted. I couldn't find a good relaxed position to hold it in when not fighting, so I was keeping some muscle tense holding it up the whole time. I assume that's suboptimal.

When resting I hook my shield edge into my leg armor and tuck my elbow...but in general, if you can have your shield resting when fighting, it's tempting to *leave* it there -- bad for the same reasons resting your sword on your shoulder is sub-optimal.
