I put The Incredibles on half as background while I was doing some stuff. Still an excellent movie. I noticed something I missed on prior viewing: at one point Syndrome is mistaken for a hero called... Bironic.
I was spelling it the way that seemed more likely in context, but yes the normal form is with a 'y'. I don't recall the island... ah, yes, Nomanison. I now remember noting it on the first viewing, but I had forgotted.
