(no subject)

Astride of a grave and a difficult birth. Down in the hole, lingeringly, the gravedigger puts on the forceps. We have time to grow old. The air is full of our cries... but habit is a great deadener.

At me too someone is looking, of me too someone is saying, he is asleep, he knows nothing, let him sleep on.

Great quote. What's it from (I could look it up, but I'm lazy -- and the Internet is full of lies).

It's the money quote from Waiting for Godot.

Though the internet is full of lies, it is effectively more full of truth, because of the way Google works. By way of example, googling the quote would have gotten a page of Waiting For Godot (including hit #1 from Wikipedia), and one mention of Ecclesiates, which would have resolved down to Vladimir's quote anyway.
