Both the Arrogant Worms and Paul & Storm give good (rather goofy) live. Club Passim is not a great venue, but it was worth it for the dual ticket, and we knew about half the audience.

Also, happy to be eating grains again. I'll be over here with my Bailey's.

Yeah, their new album is called Opening Band, and, appropriately enough, that's what they were.

they delivered a surprisingly touching little speech about that title the last time we saw them at Passim: in a nutshell, they worked their way up from obscurity once already as Da Vinci’s Notebook and had pretty much forgotten what it was like not to be The Band People Were Coming To Hear, since as just Paul & Storm they suddenly weren’t famous anymore.

unsurprisingly, they dealt with the letdown by laughing at it.

See, now, I had no clue who they were... perhaps they're shooting themselves in the foot with a lack of publicity. (Or perhaps that's the way they like it.)
