Weekend

Summary:
Shadowrun.
Much sleep. Picnicon.
More sleep. Armor tinkering. Drive-in.
Very little sleep. Long party.
Moderate sleep. Armor finishing. 2nd Dorcester party. Party back in Waltham. Fireworks.

Commentary:

It's surprisingly feasible to play a mage in the new Shadowrun. Picnicon is fun with a broad crosssection of my social circle. Armor is an iterative process. Drive-in is fun but not for every film. Parties are good. Waltham fireworks are surprisingly lengthy and novel. A weekend with so much sleep is annoyingly countered by one night of insomnia.

Yeah, so I forgot to include the guy's armor into your first direct attack...I still have to figure out the new rules :-/ Or just translate the whole system into something usable, like, say, GURPS...

At E3, I was all excited to see that someone was making a Shadowrun videogame... until I got a closer look. It looks like a bog-standard deathmatch game with a wafer-thin veneer of Shadowrun ideas on top.
