(no subject)

last night, six hours of cooking, in bed by 2.
tonight, much the same.
tomorrow... well, we'll see if we can wrap it up sooner. probably not, though.

One of the reasons I really enjoy putting on our Christmas dinner is that I find the insane amount of cooking beforehand to be a rush. I rather like the effect of cooking until I drop, and getting up Christmas day and pushing through to last bit and seeing it all go out. I'm glad it's only once a year though.

Sorry I'm not going to be at the event - a fabulous lady asked me to come see a show, and well, you know my priorities. Hope it all goes well, and turns out in a satisfying way for you.

I do love cooking, it's mostly just that having it added to an already full schedule causes a number of crunchy problems.

No worries, I'm sure you'll have my cooking at some point.

hello!

we keep bumping into each other due to overlapping social circles, and i realize that i can't actually remember the last time we had a conversation, rather than incidental hello-ing and the occasional brief discussion of menu dynamics. i think i'm going to add you in the hopes of having something to say the next time there's a bumping.
