Our conclusion was that the game is fun if and only if you don't take it too seriously. Our first game proved to be both balanced and slow (about 1.5 hours for a three-person game, IIRC), but hungrytiger has led me to understand that that's unusual -- it's more often fairly unbalanced, and sometimes turns into a massacre.
OTOH, as a light tactical exercise with opportunities for goofy roleplaying, it's fun...
Agreed. There is no BSCF this week due to it being a vacation week for the kids, but I'm more than happy to pull out the box if you'd like to play a few rounds sometime this week. Anyone else up for it? dkapelle? jducoeur?
