Reason #26 why I like my Mac
Spent about two hours this morning cleansing
tpau's computer of a couple bits of malware, added to her hour+ last night. About 300 bits, actually. Needed three different virus-scrapers, a lot of websearching, and some incidental registry hacking. Clearly virii have been domesticated for business purposes all too effectively. Of course spyware is well-known, but I hadn't noticed how incredibly locustlike it had become of late. Please to be stop using Microsoft now.

BTW, if you/she isn't on all the lists of where to get the latest updates to combat worms, viri, etc., odds are it's likely your machine will be hacked and zombied to dish out spam in the near future (though hiding behind your ISP does provide some protection from such attacks). I defer to
