learnedaxSleep? Bah. Friday night hung about with an old friend until 1-2; Saturday went to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lerta and tibbetts's housewarming party and caught up with several people I haven't seen in years until 3:30 or so; Sunday had 6.5 things on my schedule, managed the physically-possible 2.5 and then wandered off for some unexpected better-timed-not-on-a-worknight adventures till 5ish. Had no complex plans today, but rather than chill at home and go to bed early, new_man called me as I was gymming with metahacker, to tell me marrus is in town and dinner plans are happening - so now I'm home and it's not ridiculously late but I am ridiculously tired, and of course I've had another evening of much fun and none of the home stuff that I was hoping to do on my one free evening this week.* I would continue laughing in the face of sleep, if only I could keep my eyes open...
*I had, I would like to note, a completely empty September schedule. Lots of fun stuff slipped in, and I have had one free evening so far in the month, which I used for greatly-needed unpacking. Clearly my calendar, like nature, abhors a vacuum, and so the two of them got together to make a bunch of plans for me so that if the vacuum calls up there'll be no chance of it getting an appointment.
