Jan. 16th, 2006 08:02 pmArisia was fun, in all its usual ways. Running a pleasantly popular Intercon party Saturday night meant both less volunteering time and less general party roving time than usual, which contributed to the con feeling a bit disjoint. Also we arrived latish and left early (and had no blizzard-induced extra day like last year), all of which exacerbates the feeling that 48 hours is not enough time. There are too many fun people to meet, and not enough time to spend with the fun people that I already know.
Since we got just three signups, we did not run the larp Friday night. Eh. Arisia organization fumbled especially poorly this year in several areas, and this was one of them.
I continued my pattern of being unemployed for Arisia, though more on that tomorrow.
Now
tpau's in England, and I'm at loose ends for the week. Blah.
On the other hand, Vegas in four days.
