Whee, I went to the local SCA branch's monthly meeting tonight. Sometimes I find the high levels of bureaucracy tedious, but this month I realized that I could avoid going further stir crazy by volunteering for as many things as possible. So with everyone planning a lot of new events over the next year, I signed up to run various aspects of them, which ought to at least help me maintain some level of sanity :-)
