Lear rehearsal was quite useful tonight, and we got onto some extremely strange para-textual discussions (e.g. "Shakespeare's plays as scenes from a restaurant: 'tell me, where's our Fancy Bread?', 'To no more than 25 can I give place or seating', 'The quality of our juice is not strained'..."). Am finally more or less happy with the last few awkward bits of my performance.

LARP for Intercon is all but done at long last. Characters are sent out.

-conversely-

Lear took an inordinately long time, such that I wasn't here for any part of the LARP mechanics-resolution session that [livejournal.com profile] tpau and [livejournal.com profile] dkapell undertook to follow up our 14 hours of work yesterday. And three players have dropped last minute.

Car situation sucks. Didn't drive car since getting it from mechanic on Saturday, and found out today that it won't start. The starter does not begin to run, period. And to add insult to injury, [livejournal.com profile] cristovau's insurance finished their deliberations by concluding that making a three-point turn on a two way street constitutes "an illegal u-turn". I will have to knock their heads together tomorrow.
