tpau,
ladysprite,
umbran, and I went on a dinner-and-a-movie double date to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It's a very sweet, frequently funny movie, and I like that they used a small, well-defined extraordinary element and developed its implications thoroughly as it affected human relationships. The delicacy with which the relationships unfold is very apt. As
umbran put it, in this case we are actually justified in calling the film artfully constructed.
I'm somewhat surprised that this movie has so many well-known actors in it, given that its production values appear quite low and it was essentially not advertised. It's good to see established actors be willing to get involved in fringe projects like this one.
