Aug. 11th, 2005 11:52 pmLet's see...
Tuesday, went over to
metahacker's for dinner and armor fiddling.
Yesterday, went over to
alexx_kay's and watched Free Enterprise. Pretty funny movie, if you're a total geek. The Logan's Run stuff was particularly good. (Huh, apparently they're making a sequel as well.) Also,
baron_saturday was right about the deleted scenes.
Today, had lunch with D. It's nice to be able to do that frequently, with his office being across the street from mine*. Had dinner with
asdr83, and then dropped my armor off with
jducoeur and
msmemory, with a pause to drill the helm in a few places. Located last missing pieces of garb, did the minimal sewing that they needed, and am now possibly fully prepared for Pennsic.
(Interspersed liberally throughout the week were many smaller tasks preparing me, work, house, etc. For some reason it seems like this year has a lot more details to be attended to. I'm sure a big part of it is that by coincidence I've never been working a regular job while going to Pennsic before.)
*Until October, anyway, when my office moves to about a mile from my house. That has benefits of its own.
