Viva le Boston
Apr. 9th, 2007 08:09 amI just flew in from Vegas, and boy are my feet tired from all the walking I did. Also my mind and body are tired from the not-sleeping that I did, although with the exception of only getting one or two hours of a sleeplike substance on this morning's redeye I slept better this time than last, since I wasn't trying to out party the city.
new_man and I did the classic Vegas trip, Thursday-late to Sunday-late, 72 hours that feel like two weeks. We timed it to match up with
rickthefightguy and
tamarinne being in town for a wedding, so the four of us and sometimes other wedding attendees did some fun kicking around the city of sin together.
Saw some shows, played some decent Hold'em, ate lots of good food, and drank much liquor at questionable times of day. When it's six-something in the morning and you get off your plane, "about time for another drink" is probably and odd thing to think, but Vegas is an odd town.
Alright, now I have a huge amount to do at work, so I'm off to that having reset my day with a hot shower.
