I often think about hitting people with big sticks up here on Mount 3Com. (Like about ten minutes ago.) There's a reason I keep most of my blunt instruments at home.
Hey, Thats awesome man! First, let me say I'm sorry I didn't make practice yesterday, I felt lousy about it, especially after I told you I was going to. :( I'll see you out there soon though!
Second - KEEP AT IT. out of all the sports I've ever done, this one keeps getting better the more I do it. I get more and more out of it. Physically, Spiritually and Personally. Fighting, the thing that drew me to the SCA has effected my whole world. When I walk out on the Pennsic field, I know I'm walking with the sort of Hero's that I never would have met had I been anywhere else. Heck, one of my best and most fun memories is standing on the end of a line with you and Alex in the woods. Keep at it, even though it will cost you your body, blood, sweat, more then a few tears, even though you'll hurt and be broken once in a while. Keep at it, it's worth it. This year at Pennsic I was walking back to camp after fighting all day, staying out and doing pick up on a hurt knee (skin not joint) and I caught sight my my silhouette in the setting sun, and though "This is me, this is what I was meant to do" Anyway, I'll stop ranting since I could talk on this all day, I love what we do, it's amazing and nothing else comes close. I'm glad that you found it.
