The First Rule of Learning:
The are domains where it is best to perfect form first. There are domains where it is best to go out and experiment, letting form work itself out. In the overwhelming majority of domains a combination is most effective. Date: 2005-09-18 02:01 am (UTC)I think sucessful artists are people who keep churning it out (whatever "it" is.) Eventually, a) they get good at it, and b) they produce enough of a body of work to get noticed by more than a few people.
