note to self: once hot wax has run liberally over your sink full of dishes, there's only one viable way of fixing it. unfortunately, scrubbing at your tupperware under 160 degree water (the parafin should melt at about 148) turns out to be both tedious and painful. a wiser person might have been able to avoid the cause, but not me...
