Funny story about Vegas. The first time I went there was in 2006, the first month of 2006 in fact, so less than a month after it had stopped being 2005. A lot of people were calling it "ought six" at the time, because it had a zero for the decade, and a six for the year, I went there with my friend N who had brought one of those yellow Kodak disposable cameras that you can find anywhere for $19.95, and we were having dinner one day on the strip. I had a turkey sandwich and we ate at a table made of black glass, and I said it was too bad he never brought that camera with him and he said yes it was. Too make a long story short, Vegas is a remarkable town.
