Whoa. Several of you have had a look here already. Way trippy. Spotted El, a rakish Speth, a great picture of Ferd and Ianthe, a certain knight you might recognize, and a sweet coronation moment. People who were actually around then would probably recognize quite a few more...

Spotted El

Thank god for heraldry. I'm not sure I would have recognized him. The guy in that photo looks... tough.

Who is the man
That would risk his neck for his brother man?
(El!)
Can ya dig it?

Who's the cat that won't cop out
When there's danger all about
(El!)
Right on

You see this cat El is a bad mother--
(Shut your mouth)
But I'm talkin' about El
(Then we can dig it)

...a rakish Speth
Love the 70s sunglasses with the Elizabethan. The picture that follows is not as rakish, but sweeter.

That's my gambeson, that's my helm, that's my hockey gloves. I just don't recognize the shield, the opponent, or the site.

Geez, we were all so skinny back then. And the hair!

Vanity, vanity. It isn't always about me. Now I am remember that the gambeson and helm were standard Great Bear issue. That's probably Martin of Normandy in that pic.

- Oh, and of course, the previous Baron of Carolingia.

You know, even having seen Thieves' Quest I saw that shot and thought "I dunno, he looks kinda familiar..."

I'm slightly creeped by some of these pictures being labeled "vintage" such as the one of Sebastian on the stilts (Hey! I remember that! It can't be old!).
I really ought to sit down this afternoon & see which shots I can contribute labels to. What a great site!!

I'm right there with you on the Hey! I remember that! But I can't be old! bus. And yeah, Sebastian on stilts was one of the specific triggers. Worse was a picture of the first Runnymede dinner with dear old dad in it.

They cover a wide range, from the 60s to the early 90s, I think. So, even though some of the pictures overlap our time, it's not like they're really as old as some of the others. The "vintage" label is a misnomer.

Yeah, I added dad's label in the comments. Do you know who the people on the left were?

Someone else identified Saleem and Sadira of Thescore, which seems plausible. That just leaves the woman on the far left, and no, I'm not certain who that is.

a certain knight you might recognize

At least two: Duke Sir Akbar and Earl Sir Leaghaire.

Btw, though I am not entirely sure, I think the lady in the picture is Duchess Isebeau.

I do not know much about any of those three, so those parts do not interest me as much as they might.

(You used to look quite good, though.)

I keep going back to look at the picture of Fernando. The glower, it never changes. ;)

It was the part I recognized first. I almost think I should get a print for them, it's such a striking shot.

Whereas I got struck by the part that never changes on Ianthe.

And you, Your Grace, continue to be timeless in your own way, I see. ;)
