GNE was lots of fun, with just about perfect weather. Fighting was poorly setup, but we made good from it. Late night partying remains excellent.

I don't think I mentioned it, but getting a chance to party with both of you was pretty cool. :) It's something that doesn't happen nearly enough!

It must be the 'late night' part, that made it good. The early evening parts that I would describe as "partying" weren't good. There was much enjoyable socializing, chatting, etc. but no good partying. The few parties I found were... uninspiring.

It wasn't the parties so much as the partiers. The gypsy party and Thunder Mountain were both much like typical Pennsic parties, I thought, and thus decent backdrops.
