F done. Possibly the best Intercon ever, certainly the largest by a fair margin. Despite a swath of personal tragedy and general chaos that ran through the larp community in the past two weeks, everything seemed to reasonably smoothly.
My game seems to have done reasonably well, despite some insane last-minuteness. I only played in three games, but I was quite happy wiht about two and a half of them, and I felt like I got well into the character in all three. Danced a lot yeserday, spent a ton of time running operations, spent a ton more time schmoozing, spent very little time sleeping.
The cost is that I'm burned out, the house is a disaster, and I've let most everything that isn't work or Intercon lapse terribly for the past 2-3 weeks. Usually at this point in the con process I'd be wishing I could continue hanging out with people for another week, but right now I'd rather spend that week completely locked away from anyone or anything. I am hopeful that my outlook will be improved by recovering from what is even for me significant sleep deprivation.
