I am so happily surprised to now be in temporary possession of several hundred dollars worth of hard-to-replace Miracleman comics.
alexx_kay is very trusting.
I'm very glad that the existence of a literate network of friends means that I only need to own a fraction of the media that I want to consume, with ad hoc distributed storage allowing for a sort of modern Alexandria effect.

Date: 2004-01-29 08:31 am (UTC)It's practical. The amount of Good Stuff I've loaned-and-not-got-back over the years is small, and pales in comparison to the amount of Good Stuff I've borrowed from others in my turn. I, too, like the ad hoc Alexandria thang, and happily do my part to support it.
