Springtime for Hitler

It is now technically spring by the 'official' standard. The world now has rubberstamped approval to rise from its wintry turbidity and blossom into something new and beautiful.

Our opening night went extremely well, I had a nice long talk with shprintzah while driving her home, I've got Vivaldi's Spring on in the background, clever social plans have been worked out for the weekend, and I am off to get a nice, hot, very quick shower before I fall to sleep.

Buds begin to shoot forth...

Somehow I read that as "turgidity" and the resultant wrongness forced me to go lie down for a while.

I wouldn't call winter turgid yet, but if we get another May snowfall I think it'd be appropriate.
