I just started fiddling with S2, so most of my formatting will be in flux for a few days. The black-on-black thing is annoying to track down, actually, because certain bits of text are coded as black much deeper in the layout than the other colors.
Understood, but you *do* realize that you have more or less sacrificed the right to complain about my color scheme here...
Note that I took the layout templates in hand and actually built my own -- I wanted some real code changes, so I'm not using the built-in layout at all any more. There are some subtle bugs in the existing one, including one or two mislabeled properties that make it very hard to figure out what's happening. IMO, it's much easier to figure out what to do if you read the source code; frankly, it's easier to get precisely what you want by editing the source.
I can email you the source to my version, if you want it. You're a paid account, so you're allowed to create your own layouts...
Well, in fact, one of the reasons that the current colors are not yet smoothed out is that I started by cloning Tabular Indent (since that's the S1 that I used as a base) and changed the hex codes to a guess of what would work. I wasn't planning to write one from scratch, but I am certainly reworking the source a bit.
I will cease to complain about your color scheme, though I actually think it would look very nice if the blue were darker... say, 3333BB.

Next step -- get the coloring scheme fixed. Can't read anything outside of the box in which I am writing this comment...
