The drive from Dorchester to Waltham is not a bad one. Even at midnight. Even in the pouring rain.

What is bad is realizing that you cannot use 93 while en route.

This time I lose.

Oops. If you had waited an hour, I think they reopened 93 at 1 AM.

Curious: Did you actually get to 93? If you did, didn't they just force you to exit at the Mass Pike?

I had been lured into a false sense of security because when I went to Dorchester, 93 was wide open, of course, because I was southbound. Going north you simply can't get on the ramp after 3pm or so. I did wind my way to the Pike eventually, but by a much more circuitous route.
